It would be amazing to get some of the Philadelphia museums involved to... or THE Philadelphia Museum. When I was teaching in New York we did some field trips down there, and they have a wonderful education department. I'm sure someone there would be happy to talk to you about some ideas.

Re: Over 10,000 people join Save the Arts in Pennsylvania Facebook Cause

I am artless in PA :(

Re: City of Greensburg issues Arts Proclamation

Bravo Greensburg!

Re: About

Thanks Hank!

Re: About

Chad: <a href="http://www.pennlive.com/midstate/index.ssf/2009/07/arts_fans_rally_at_harrisburg.html" rel="nofollow">http://www.pennlive.com/midsta...</a>

Funding the arts is an investment in the future of the next generation. It can be a powerful voice for peace. It enables students to learn other disciplines. For example, do the powers that be know that there is a connection between art and science? Do they realize the connection between art and math? What better way to teach anyone anything, in my opinion. The importance of the arts reflect the state of our society; therefore this society is in bad shape especially if we have to beg for peanuts to help art and artists survive.

We do not have access to Facebook from the office but we are keeping track from home. We have come a long, long way with a way to go, but we can get there with your support. Keep advocating. Keeping talking to friends and family and business associates and get them to sign up with the Citizens for the Arts website. When the time comes that we need you, we will need you quickly, and in numbers.
